KIGT Becomes Southern California Edison Charge Ready Approved EV Charging Manufacturer

It is an honor and a privilege to have gone through the process of becoming an approved Southern California Edison Electric (SCE) Vehicle Charging Station Manufacturer. The Charge Ready program deploys electric vehicle infrastructure to serve qualified electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout SCE service territories, while the Market Education program targets car buyers, to help them gain awareness of EVs and the benefits of fueling from the grid.

As an approved vendor commercial entities can select KIGT eChargers for their business, housing development, retail center, etc. and So. Cal Edison will cover the cost of the make-ready installation as well as cover the entire cost if not a significant cost of the EV Charger.

Southern California Edison is the largest subsidiary of Edison International, is the primary electricity supply company for much of Southern California. SCE provides 14 million people with electricity across a service territory of approximately 50,000 square miles. The people from that organization are extremely passionate about transportation electrification and KIGT is grateful for this tremendous opportunity to help reshape 100 years of human habit in Southern California.
